Location: Portknockie is a cliff-top village overlooking the Moray Firth in North East Scotland, midway between Aberdeen and Inverness. The village is ideally located within easy reach of all the attractions Moray has to offer. There are many fantastic walks and the area has some of the best golf courses around with two of them only a couple of miles away. If you are a wildlife fanatic, you`ll never be short of things to see and do. The Moray Firth is renowned for it`s vast array of different sea life, which can be seen first hand by a local daily boat trip or simply by visiting the fascinating local acquarium. Why not try the Malt Whisky Trail? The only one of it`s kind in the world. For those historians amongst us, there are plenty of local castle`s and ruins within the area, including Findlater castle, only a few miles away. Portknockie is conveniently located within easy reach of all the local attractions in the area and has it`s own shops, Pubs and traditional Fish and Chip takeaway. If you can`t find what you need in the village, the town of Buckie is only a few miles away and has many more shops and facilities.
