DRIMSYNIE ESTATE Lochgoilhead. From the M8 at the Erskine Bridge follow the A82 Loch Lomond road to Tarbet and the A83 to the top of The Rest and Be Thankful, turn left onto the single track 8828 which becomes the 8839. On approaching Lochgoilhead, guests for Drimsynie House Hotel, lodges or caravans take the Carrick Castle road. The entrance to the Drimsynie Estate is 300 yards on the right. The Lochgoilhead Hotel is located in the village. Please check your confirmation so you know where you are checking in. Located in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Lochgoilhead sits at the head of Loch Goil, a fjord type sea loch. Only 1 hour from the Erskine Bridge, Glasgow Airport the M8 and Glasgow. The village is accessed from the Rest-and-be-Thankful pass via a 6 mile single track road. This is a special place, surrounded by hills, with superb loch views, as well as as wide range of accommodation, leisure activities and entertainment. |

Osprey Lodge - Located close to the Drimsynie House Hotel and leisure centre. Ground floor with lounge, dining area, shower and WC, as well as a galley type kitchen. Double put-u-up in the lounge. Two bedrooms, one double with en-suite shower, and one twin. A-frame lodge. Bedrooms upstairs. Verandah with picnic table. Lapwing Lodge - Bungalow style all on one level. Five minutes walk to the Drimsynie Hiuse Hotel and leisure centre. You enter the lodge via the open plan kitchen which leads on to the lounge and dining area. Three bedrooms, a double and 2 twins. Double and twin with en-suite shower and WC. Separate bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Situated in a valley area with views over the stream towards Kingfisher Village. The stream is not fenced. Eagle Lodge - Our largest and most spacious A-frame lodge is located at the entrance to the Estate, five minutes walk to the Drimsynie House Hotel and leisure centre. Ground floor includes the lounge, dining area, shower and WC, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge and seperate freezer. Two bedrooms, one double and one twin bedded room both with en-suite bathrooms. Double put-u-up in the lounge. Most lodges have showers over the baths in the en-suites. Large veranda to the front of lodge with picnic table. There is one Eagle which has 3 bedrooms without the en-suites. |
