Description: Mill Cottage is a semi-detached, traditional stone cottage built in 1827, but recently fully renovated inside, to provide spacious, bright and comfortable accommodation for 5 people. Downstairs has wheelchair access to the family kitchen, a bedroom and wetroom. The propery is centrally heated throughout, with a multi-fuel stove in the upstairs sitting - room, for those who enjoy a real fire. There are beautiful views across our sheep fields and smallholding to the hills beyond. There is free fishing in our half-mile stretch of the River Lyne. Have a look at our website for more photos. Location: Romanno Bridge is a small hamlet, 4 miles from the beautiful and historic village of West Linton. There are lots of local activities for all ages - an activities camp for children, a championship standard golf course in West Linton, lovely country walks, Icelandic pony trekking, dry-skiing at Hillend, mountain-biking at Glentress. Visitors find the cottage to be ideally placed for the options of exploring the lovely Borders countryside, or for an easy 30 minute drive into Edinburgh with all its attractions. It is also possible to have easy access to other parts of Scotland via the City By-Pass. |
