Description: Cavers Knowes Farmhouse offers spacious comfortable accommodation on two levels and is tastefully furnished throughout. The large kitchen, which overlooks the back garden, has a table and seating for five, electric cooker, microwave oven, health grill and fridge. The spacious sitting room, with views overlooking the front garden and pond just beyond, has a large log-burning stove and comfortable seating with a colour television and video player. There is a separate dining room, also with a log stove, for that special meal. Also on the ground floor is a cloakroom with toilet and basin and a utility room with an electric shower, washing machine, tumble drier and freezer. Upstairs there is one double, one twin and one single bedroom and bathroom with basin, toilet and bath with shower attachment. A kennel is provided for those guests who wish to bring their dogs. Location: There is private loch fishing, which is free of charge to all guests. Fishing is by barbless hooks only. A charge will be levied for those wishing to keep any fish. The traditional common-ridings in all the Border towns start with Hawick. The first ride-out is in May culminating with the impressive Common Riding at the beginning of June.
