Description: Access to the property is from the front where you enter the large comfortable sitting room with wood burning stove, which you can toast yourselves beside on cool evenings (wood and coal supplied). There is a selection of CD's, DVD's, books and games for your use. Alternatively you can enter by the back into the utility room with washer/drier and plenty of coat hooks to change boots and outdoor gear before entering the large, bright kitchen/dining room with double oven, grill, hob, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment. A high chair is available. Also on this level are a family bathroom and a bedroom with bunk beds. On the first floor the master king-size bedroom has beautiful views over the fields of the farmland with en-suite shower and toilet. The twin room is also en-suite and looks out over the glorious scenery towards Tinto Hill which has commanding views from the top. The large landing adjoining these rooms has a sofa bed which sleeps two comfortably if required. A cot is also available. Location: The New Farmhouse is a Scandinavian house set in its own private grounds on a working farm. Experience the tranquility of the country from a perfect central location for Edinburgh, Glasgow and many outdoor pursuits including mountain biking and walking. There is ample parking beside the property. Locally, Biggar has a small Co-op, post office, restaurants, cafes, 3 museums, 18 hole golf course and a puppet theatre. |
