Location: The cottage lies in an ideal position for touring Cornwall, being within easy reach of both the North and South coasts and their many magnificent beaches. It is within 10 minutes of both the A30 and A39 and the far west coast at Land's End is an easy day trip. The attractive nearby town of St. Columb Major (3½ miles) has all the essential facilities, including a supermarket, banks, post-office, chemist and pubs. The popular Eden Project is only 10 miles away, while the seaside locations of Padstow and Newquay are both less than 15 minutes by car. The bustling towns of Wadebridge, Bodmin and Truro are just 9, 13 and 19 miles respectively. The Tate Gallery and Hepworth Museum of St. Ives, the Lost Gardens of Helligan and the Cornish Maritime Museum at Falmouth are just a few examples of the magnificent attractions worth a visit in the area.
