Nestling on the gentle slopes between St. Agnes Beacon and the sea are Bramble and Croft Cottages. Both cottages are built and equipped to the highest standards and are accessed through their own private gardens with picnic tables and barbeques. Both cottages are built in the same style and character with traditional features such as exposed beams and stone walls but Bramble Cottage is single storey. Each cottage has a fully fitted kitchen/diner with electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, and washer/dryer. A cosy and comfortably furnished sitting room with wood burner, colour T.V, video and music centre. |

The bathrooms are tastefully tiled and fitted with a bath, power shower, W.C. and wash basin. Both cottages have one double bedroom with pine bed and furniture and one twin bedroom also in pine. All bed linen, duvets etc are provided and beds are made up ready for your arrival. Bramble Cottage has full oil fires central heating with radiators in each room. Croft Cottage has an emmersion heater and electric wall heaters in each room. Both cottages have wood burners for added cosiness. Beacon Cottage farm is a traditional working family farm of approx 400 acres. It is a mixed beef and arable farm with a home bred herd of beef cows and calves. The farm is situated in beautiful countryside a few hundred yards from the sea and in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Heritage Coast. We enjoy spectacular sea and coastal views and are just a few minutes walk from the South West Coast Path. This is a wonderful area for walking and from the cottages you have access to miles of peaceful winding tracks and pathways along the coast and secluded valleys. Every season has something different to offer- in the spring and summer the walls and hedges are a mass of wild flowers while in the autumn and winter months the gorse and heather form a carpet of colour on the hillside. St. Agnes is an ideal centre for touring Cornwall with beautiful cathedral city of Truro, our main shopping centre, just 10 miles away and the Eden Project, Maritime Museum, and Tate Gallery within easy reach. Our family have worked the farm for mant generations and have welcomed visitors here since 1927, we look forward to welcoming you to Beacon Cottage Farm and to this very special part of Cornwall. |
