Accommodating from 2 - 34 persons in any combination. Ash Holiday Cottage and Beech Holiday Cottage have 3 bedrooms sleeping 6-8 persons. Oak Holiday Cottage has 3 bedrooms sleeping 5-7 persons. Hazel Holiday Cottage has 2 bedrooms sleeping 4-6 persons. And Elm Holiday Cottage has 1 bedroom sleeping 2-4 persons. Paddock House Farm Holiday Cottages lies about 2 miles to the north of the most attractive village of Alstonefield which nestles in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Alstonefield is located just inside Staffordshire with the Derbyshire border being immediately to the east of the village following the course of the River Dove. Alstonefield lies amidst the beautiful southern area of the Peak District between the towns of Buxton, Bakewell, Matlock and Ashbourne. The area is famed for its stunning scenery with rolling hills dissected by beautiful valleys with Dovedale and the Manifold valley lying immediately east and west of the village. The area offers great scope for walking riding and other country pursuits. Local villages provide a variety of everyday facilities and Alstonefield has a charming village inn. The nearest shop is at Hulme End where milk, newspapers and provisions are available and the Post Office is at Hartington, 4 miles away, which also has tearooms, shops and a cheese factory (famous for its Stilton cheese). Nearest Railway Station is at Buxton - 13 miles and the nearest Bus Station is at Ashbourne - 9 miles. The regional towns are all within easy driving distance and provide an excellent range of shops and recreational opportunities. The larger centers of Derby, Sheffield, Nottingham, Birmingham and Manchester are all within easy reach. All our Holiday Cottages are surrounded by spectacular countryside with open views. Set in 35 acres of grounds with access to 5 acres of gardens and grassland. For a small walk just wander up the main tree lined drive and admire the open views. On arrival you will be personally greeted. We will show you around your Holiday Cottage and the surrounding facilities. The Holiday Cottages all have new double glazing and full oil fired central heating with individual thermostatic controlled radiators with constant hot water. (Ideal for those winter breaks) There is no extra charge for heating and electric. If you wish to have a romantic open fire in Ash Holiday Cottage or Beech Holiday Cottage coal can be brought from the laundry room. Crisp cotton linen and quality towels are provided. We are open all year and we are able to accommodate at the last minute or you can book well in advance. The arrival day is Saturday for 7 Nights during peak season. We cater for short breaks all year but during peek season you can only book a short break within 28 days of arrival. Short breaks start Friday for 3 nights and Monday for 4 nights. We aim to cater for all. All our Holiday Cottages are fitted out to a very high standard. Each cottages kitchen comes complete with electric hob and cooker, dishwasher, fully fitted cupboards and dining table. The kitchens are equipped with all the cutlery & crockery you will need. The sitting / lounge area have ample seating including a sofa bed, TV, DVD, Freesat (Freeview via satellite) and Video. All bedrooms have standard size double bed or single beds, pine chest of draws and wardrobes, CD alarm clock radios. The main bathrooms come complete with shower over the bath, wash hand basin and wc. Additional facilities.

Hazel Holiday Cottage = sleeps 4 + 2 + Cot. Hazel Holiday Cottage is all on the first floor. As you enter the cottage through your personal entrance. The master double bedroom is to the left with fitted wardrobe, large chest of draws, Double bed, 2 bedside cabinets and a CD clock radio. With en-suite shower room comprising of large shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin. To the right on the landing you have the Lounge with settee, bed settee, TV, DVD, Freesat, (Freeview via satellite)Video and various coffee tables. Through the lounge you enter the kitchen dinner with ample cutlery and crockery, full oven, dishwasher, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster and Pine dinning table with seating for 6. trough the kitchen down a small hallway you have the second twin bedroom fitted with twin beds, wardrobe, chest of draws, bed side cabinets and a CD clock radio. At the end of the hall way is the second bath room with bath and shower attachment, toilet and wash basin. The cottage has full central heating with thermostatic controlled radiators and constant hot water. Towels and bed linen is supplied. This Holiday Cottage with suit a small family or 2 couples wishing to holiday together, The bedrooms with access to there own bath or shower room is at each end of the cottage with the kitchen and lounge separating giving each couple some form of privacy. 1 Bedroom Holiday Cottage. Elm Holiday Cottage = sleeps 2 + 2 + Cot. Excellent quality 1 bedroom accommodation features large master 4 poster bedroom with bedside cabinets, wardrobe, chest of draws and dressing table with mirror and stool. Alarm CD clock radio. Open plan Kitchen lounge and dinning area. With U shape kitchen with sink, dishwasher, fridge, kettle toaster, microwave and ample cutlery and crockery. From Ashbourne take the A515 signposted towards Buxton. Continue on this road for about 5 1/2 miles and turn left signposted for Alstonefield. (Just before the New Inns) After about 2 miles you will come to the village of Alstonefield. Follow this road around to the right which leads out of Alstonefield towards Hulme End. Continue for approximately 2 1/2 miles and the entrance to Paddock House Farm Holiday Cottages will be found on the left immediately after the signpost on the right towards Hartington and Sheen. Continue down our tree lined private drive for some 400 meters and as the drive forks turn left towards the main courtyard. Directions to Paddock House Farm Holiday Cottages. From Buxton. From Buxton take the A515 signposted towards Ashbourne Approximately 10 miles on your right take the B5054 towards Hartington. Go through the Village staying on the B5054 after a further 2 miles turn at the Manifold Inn left towards Alstonefield. Continue for approximately 1 Mile and the entrance to Paddock House Farm Holiday Cottages. Will be found on your right. Continue down our tree lined private drive for some 400 meters and as the drive forks turn left towards the main courtyard. Directions to Paddock House Farm holiday Cottages. From Leek. From Leek take the A52 to Ashbourne for approximately 5 miles. At the crossroads near the Green Man Public House turn left onto the B5053 towards Warslow. After the village of Warslow turn right on to the B5054 towards Hartington. After about 1 Mile turn right at the Manifold Inn towards Alstonefield. Continue for approximately 1 Mile and the entrance to Paddock House Farm Holiday Cottages. Will be found on your right. Continue down our tree lined private drive for some 400 meters and as the drive forks turn left towards the main courtyard. |
