Nestling between the magnificent valleys of Dovedale and the Manifold Rivers and surrounded by National Trust land, you only need to walk out of the front door to experience some of the finest walks around. The National Trust Park of Ilam and both rivers are only a short walk away and Alton Towers and the country houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are only a short drive away. The cottages are fitted out to a very high standard with beautiful furnishings, latest technology, luxury fittings, and antiques. Outside there are individual decking areas with garden furniture and barbeques. There is a mown paddock for games and 20 acres of farm grounds that you are welcome to use. We have pet sheep, ducks, and chickens and during lambing time the children often help feed the lambs. Dogs welcome free of charge.
