Hall Farm Holiday Cottages

Description: Our three cottages (stone barn conversions) offer delightful self catering accommodation with magnificent views over Thors Cave and the Manifold Valley. Grindon (single story), Manifold and Thors cottages sleep 3, 4 and 5 respectively. The cottages are set in 2 acres of beautiful gardens and paddock and have their own seating area to enjoy the wonderful views. We have a Utility Room with a washing machine and tumble dryer a well stocked fridge/freezer and a selection of provisions. There is a heated playroom containing table tennis, children's snooker and table football, Playstation games machines, lots of toys, games, books and videos. Outside there is a large patio with barbeque overlooking a play area with swings and a climbing-frame. Behind the cottages is a large mown paddock with play area, badminton and space for other energetic pursuits and another barbeque area. We also have secure storage for bikes.

Location: Situated on a quiet lane on the edge of the village of Wetton within the Peak District National Park and close to Dovedale and the famous Derbyshire Dales. The cottages are central for all places of interest including Alton Towers, the popular towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell, Buxton, Matlock and the potteries of Staffordshire. An ideal base for the many attractions such as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall, Sudbury Hall with its Children's Museum and activities such as walking (many beautiful walks directly from the cottages) sailing (Carsington Reservoir) cycling (Manifold Valley, High Peak trail and Tissington trail), pony trekking or simply relaxing in the spectacular surroundings. Wetton has a beautiful church and a cosy pub serving good pub food.
