The Old Coach House

The two bedroomed cottage built around 1686 is well equipped and tastefully modernised located in a quite setting. On the ground floor is a large dining/kitchen with automatic washing machine and dryer. Electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge and icebox. The cosy lounge has an open fire, first bag of coal free with more available on request. Wooden beams, colour television, video and modern music system. On the first floor is one double bedroom, one room with full size bunk beds these can be used as two singles. The cottage sleeps four people but we also have a full size temporary bed for an extra person if needed. A fully equipped bathroom with shower over the bath is on the first floor.

The cottage has oil fired central heating, throughout at no extra cost, but electricity is metered and pound coins are needed. We have ample parking spaces in the enclosed coach house yard, surrounded by lawned gardens and a childrens play area and sand pit. At the back of the cottage there is a private garden, equipped with patio, barbecue and garden furniture, overlooking open fields. Fresh milk eggs, home-made bread and cakes are available as well as a warm welcome from Diane who will meet you on your arrival with the door key.

Leave the M1 at junction 28 and take the A38 then take the A615 to Alfreton and then the A61 to Ripley. Turn right onto the A610 towards Ambergate and then turn right onto the A6 and proceed to Cromford. Turn left then after about 200yards turn right onto the A5012. Continue for about 5 miles to Grange Mill, turn left opposite the (Holly Bush Inn) onto the B5056.

The week runs from the Saturday to Saturday arriving 2.00pm onwards and leaving by 10.00am unless previous arrangements have been made. Short breaks and weekends can also be booked. Low Season only.
