Lynhurst is an elegant late Victorian house with great character arranged on four floors. The house is totally hidden in a large area of gardens and natural woodland yet just a whisper aways from Lynton and Lynmouth that is known as little Switzerland where Exmoor meets the sea, possibly one of the most beautiful places in England. It is a perfect retreat for those seeking peace and solitude, although secluded, it is only a short stroll to all the area's attractions - such as the famous 'Cliff Railway' which takes you to the picturesque harbour of Lynmouth, the Valley of the Rocks and the beautiful waterfalls of Watersmeet. There are many pubs, restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away and a secluded sandy beach in Lynmouth. Explore the North Devon Atlantic coastline and the Blue Flag golden sands of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands that are half an hour by car. Anyone for tennis? Guests of the Lynhurst are made associate members of the local Lyn Tennis Club for the duration of their stay. Local centres provide country based activities such as golf, fishing, riding and walking. A caterer can be arranged for functions if required. On the North Devon coast situated between Minehead in the North and Ilfracombe in the South.
