Location: The lodge is most attractively positioned on the edge of the picturesque village of Kippford. With outstanding views over the Solway Firth the lodge is just a 10 minute stroll into Kippford village, situated on the Urr estuary, which is home to the popular Solway Yacht Club. An area of outstanding natural beauty, its traditional towns and villages, rugged cliffs, islands and inlets with secluded beaches are a delight. The area was much favoured by smugglers, and tales of their activities abound.
