Description: We love where we live and would like to share it with you. Baincraig Lodge offers the perfect Self-catering Hideaway in an idyllic rural setting. As soon as you arrive you will begin relax and unwind, that's a promise! Baincraig Lodge is a self-catering holiday experience mainly intended for adults and children over 12. The Lodge which sleeps 4 is centrally heated & double glazed. It is beautifully presented and very well appointed with quality furnishings and fittings. Because it faces south it gets any sun there is and is usually very bright and sunny. Sitting quietly on the wraparound verandah is the ideal place to spot wild birds, pheasants, grouse, deer, hares etc. and there are usually cows and sheep (with lambs in the springtime) in the nearby fields. If you get tired of relaxing, there are lots of things to see and do with National Trust properties, RSPB centres, Fife Coastal Pathway, Cycle paths and plenty of simple walks close by. Of course, there are many, many golf courses all around us too. Accomodation :- The comfortable Lounge area has a cosy, stove-type gas fire, TV, video, dvd, hi-fi, books, board games, videos, music tapes etc. The patio doors open directly onto the wraparound verandah. The modern, well-equipped Dining/Kitchen area has a gas cooker with extractor hood, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and an excellent supply of cookware, crockery, cutlery etc. The Utility room, situated by the entrance door is fitted with sink, washing machine and tumble drier and has ample cupboard space to hang outdoor coats, store golf clubs and leave walking boots etc. The Main Bathroom is extremely spacious with fitted cupboards and a full sized bath with shower over. Bedroom 1 has an en-suite shower room and a king-size bed. Bedroom 2 has two quality single beds. Both bedrooms have double, mirrored wardrobes. Throughout the lodge there is generous storage provision. Outside the lodge there is a large private Garden area and parking for several cars. All towels and bed linen are provided and fuel costs are included. Location: Only 6 miles from the M90, Auchtermuchty in North East Fife is the perfect base for touring or golfing -St Andrews is 20 miles, Edinburgh 30 miles, Perth 18 miles, Dundee 19 miles, Stirling 30 miles and even Pitlochry is only 30 miles. Nestled on the lower slopes of a south-facing hillside, Baincraig Lodge is wonderfully situated with fabulous views across the valley to Falkland and the Lomond Hills. Auchtermuchty village itself is just a short walk down the farm lane - near enough for convenience yet far enough away to pretend it's not really there at all! |
