Description: The facilities in both cottages are suitable for 3/4 or 5/6 people and offer a sitting room with sofa bed, kitchen (with washing machine, cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer). A twin bedded room with en-suite shower room/toilet. Other Cottage has twin bedded room and double bedroom both with en-suite shower rooms. Also they are fully equipped with television, radio, bedding, towels, hair dryer etc. Central heating and double glazing ensure they are warm at any time of the year. For babies a travel cot with bedding and high chair are available free of charge. An extra advantage of the 3* Cottage (apart from being more spacious) has the benefit of an extra toilet facility off of the sitting room and tumble dryer in kitchen. All major cards accepted.

Location: The majority of visitors coming by car will use the M8, unless they are travelling from Ayrshire direction which will then be the A737 from the south follow signs for Glasgow via M74 north and then following the M8 westbound past the city centre. Follow signs for Glasgow Airport (junction 28A) immediately either before (eastbound) or after (westbound) look for junction 28A, signposted Irvine A737. Continue on this road before cutting off at Johnstone. Turn right at the first roundabout, straight through the next two roundabouts following signs for Houston (B789). Once you are in Houston continue past ‘The Fox & Hounds’ pub up the hill. Directly past the War Memorial, the entrance to The Old School can be found on the right hand side.
