Location: Temple Guiting, the 12th Century residence of the Knights Templar, is an old village whose houses and cottages are built of the honey coloured Cotswold Stone. The young river Windrush meanders south through a delightful deep wooded valley. An ideal base for a holiday, Temple Guiting is centrally situated within an approximate 7 mile radius of well known places of interest: Chipping Campden, Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold, Winchcombe and Bourton-on-the-Water. Plenty of footpaths and bridleways including the Cotswold Way (2 miles). Also golf links nearby. The village post office and stores provides for everyday needs. Two Inns with catering facilities within one mile of village. |
