Cyfannedd Fach

Description: Cyfannedd Fach is a magic mountain cottage 800 feet up on the western end of the mountain Cader Idris at the southern end of the Snowdonia National Park with views out across Cardigan Bay over the Barmouth estuary to the Lleyn Peninsula and Bardsey Island beyond. Rescued from dereliction in 1962 by the Hole family it has become a favorite holiday hideaway for many people on a regular basis (one couple now having booked the cottage some 28 times!). The cottage has all modern conveniences and a huge open log fire. The best description can be found by taking the moving virtual tours of the cottage upstairs and downstairs and outside by looking at the website www.cyfannedd-fach.co.uk

Location: Cyfannedd Fach is at the end of the Cader Idris mountain road 800 feet above the village of Arthog on the southern side of the Mawddach Estuary, seven miles west of Dolgellau (and through nine gates!).
