Upper Trereece

Description: Upper Trereece is a superb detached stone built barn converted in May 2005, standing in its own 10 acre pasture field leading down to the Garron Brook with 2 miles of private brown trout fishing. The barn provides spacious luxury accommodation for eight people and is equipped to a very high standard. The barn has full oil fired central heating with additional heating from a wood burning stove in sitting room where there is a colour TV/video/DVD. The 24 ft long kitchen has a double electric cooker, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, colour TV, CD player. The utility room has a fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. The large galleried hall has a table tennis table and there is a downstairs loo with basin. Upstairs bedroom 1 has a king size bed and en suite bathroom through an arch. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and shares a bathroom with shower over bath with bedroom 3 which has a double bed. Bedroom 4 has 2 single beds and an en-suite shower room through an arch. Outside is an enclosed courtyard garden with patio and parking for 6+ cars and BBQ and garden furniture. Fuel, power and wood are included in rent, together with bed linen and towels. Sorry no pets except owners or smoking. Cot available on request.

Location: The barn, standing in its own 10 acre field with sheep and lambs grazing (in season)overlooks the village of Llangarron which is 5 miles from Ross on Wye and 7 miles from Monmouth. Ross on Wye, overlooking a large loop in the beautiful River Wye in the heart of rural Herefordshire provides excellent shops, pubs and restaurants and is a centre from which to explore the countryside. Upper Trereece is 4 miles to Symonds Yat and the Lower Wye Valley which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the Forest of Dean with its miles of cycle tracks and footpaths. Hereford, Gloucester, Worcester, Ludlow, Hay on Wye, Black Mountains and Malvern Hills are all within easy reach. Canoeing, cycling, horse riding and golf are all available locally.
