Location: The cottage overlooks the sea and is just a short distance from the beach and The Melvaig Inn, 5 minutes down the road. The area's attractions include whale-watching and marine life trips, salmon, sea trout, brown trout, pike and sea fishing, bird-watching, falconry courses, deer-stalking and deer museum, guided walking and climbing, golf course, pony-trekking, swimming pool, bike and car hire, sea kayaking and boat trips on Loch Maree to view Viking graves, Inverewe Gardens. The coastline around the area is rugged, a haven for nesting birds, seals, whales, basking sharks and otters. All amenities including hotels, restaurants, shops, garage, doctors, dental surgery can be found in Gairloch, 15 minutes away. |
