Location: Sorcha is in a west coast village location, set back from the main road which passes through Glencoe on the way to the Ballachulish Bridge and the open sea. It is in the heart of hill walking and climbing country with an abundance of ridge walking nearby. It is in an excellent location for winter walking and for outdoor pursuits generally such as off road cycling, sailing, canoeing etc, or just exploring the west coast of Scotland and its islands. Ice climbing is available all year at the Ice Factor in Kinlochleven (about 8 miles). There are hotels, restaurants and small village shops in walking distance or you can drive to Fort William (about 15 miles), Oban (about 30 miles) or Kinlochleven (8 miles).
