Description: Balbeag is a single storey pine log holiday cottage, very comfortably furnished, well equipped and with efficient electric heating throughout. There is a spacious L-shaped living/dining room with a wood burning stove, open plan kitchen and a good sized utility room. There are large fitted wardrobes in all the 4 bedrooms which consist of (1) double bed, (2) twin beds which can convert to a double bed, (3) two single beds, (4) a single bed and a full-sized cabin bed. There is a bathroom with wc and a shower room with wc. Within the garden is a large picnic table with bench seating, a barbecue, two dog kennels and ample car parking space. Equipment includes an electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, hair drier, radio/cassette/CD player, satellite TV, DVD player and payphone.

Location: Balbeag is situated in a quiet secluded position on the approach to Glen Feshie and has a good southerly view up the Spey Valley. It is an ideal base from which to enjoy all the attractions and activities of the Cairngorm National Park. The Loch Insh Watersports Centre is within three quarters of a mile offering canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, a dry ski slope, play areas, shop, bar and restaurant. Fishing, game shooting and stalking are all available locally and Balbeag is also convenient for skiing on Cairngorm. Additionally, within the local area you will find horse riding, gliding, quad biking, lots of good walking trails, a number of golf courses, the RSPB Insh Marshes reserve, the Highland Wild Life Park, the Cairngorm funicular, folk and clan museums and the picturesque ruined castle at Loch an Eilean. Within an hour's drive attractions include the Landmark Centre at Carrbridge, the Whisky Trail, Loch Ness (and monster), Culloden battle field site and numerous historic castles. Balbeag is approx. 8 miles equidistant from Aviemore and Kingussie (British Rail stations at both), just over 2 miles from the A9 road and under 2 miles from the Kincraig village shop and post office. It is approx. 45 minutes from Inverness airport.
