Location: The Isle of Arran, or Scotland in Miniature as it is often known, is a magical place that keeps drawing people back year after year. It is famous for it's beauty and variety of scenery, from the stunning coastline to the mountains in the north, and has a mild climate due to it's location in the Gulf Stream. Arran is a walkers' paradise and a golfers dream!! Barnstable and Eryb, at Shannochie, are located in an elevated position on the Southern tip of the Island, and command perhaps one of the most panoramic and stunning views - from the Ayrshire and Wigtownshire coastlines, westwards to Sanda, the Mull of Kintyre and to Ireland. Kilbride is approx. 1/4 mile from Shannochie and sits amidst idyllic countryside, with views from the garden to the Argyll peninsula, Ailsa Craig and beyond.
