Cromla House

Description: Cromla House is one of the oldest houses on the island and is steeped in history from the 'Landsborough' garden with its exotic and rare plants to the famous 'Doctors Bath' on Corrie shore - a Dr.McCredy who lived in Cromla House at the time of Waterloo, having carved the bath from the bedrock of the shore in order to 'take the waters'. Cromla House offers the convenience of luxurious modern living blended with the elegance of the Georgian period. The elegantly furnished sitting room has an open fire and beautiful views of the grounds and sea. The double bedroom is the height of comfort with crisp white bedlinen and fabulous sea views. The breakfasting kitchen with original flagstone floor has all modern conveniences including dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge, freezer, ceramic hob, conventional oven, microwave oven; everything required for a luxurious home from home. The bathroom has a bath and shower and comes complete with fluffy towels and hot water on tap. The property is centrally heated and all bed linen, towels, electricity, Sky TV and a starter basket of logs and coal are included in the tariff. There is a small library of books, games and DVD's provided. Guests have free access to the grounds and hardwood garden furniture is provided for you to enjoy the spectacular views. Arrival time is 2pm and departure time is 10.30am, Saturday to Saturday. Non-refundable deposit of £150 is payable on booking with the balance due 2 weeks prior to arrival. We welcome you to Cromla House with complimentary essential groceries for afternoon tea on your arrival.
