Description: The accommodation at Tigh Uilleand Holiday Home comprises 3 bedrooms; 2 doubles and 1 twin. There are 2 bathrooms - one a family bathroom, the other a shower room. The family sized lounge with views over Loch Harport is equipped with TV, Video, satellite and an open fireplace. The kitchen diner is a large family room with oven, microwave, fridge freezer etc.. There is a washing machine and tumbledryer in the utility room. A highchair and cot can be provided. All bed linen, towels, heating and electricity are included in price. Outside there is a large garden with a small patio and barbecue. Bookings are normally weekly: Saturday to Saturday. However, midweek bookings and short breaks can be available off-season. Location: Tigh Uilleand Holiday Home is a comfortable modern detached holiday cottage on the beautiful Isle of Skye. The holiday house is located in the peaceful township of Fiscavaig, a rural hamlet 23 miles from Skye's capital, Portree. The accommodation has stunning elevated views over Loch Harport. There are plenty of things to see and do on Skye and the surrounding area. Walking in the rugged splendour of the Cullin Mountains, around the coast and along even coral beaches. The nearest beach is 5 minutes walk from the house. Bikes can be hired locally. There are outdoor centres on the island where canoeing can be arranged and also a superb pony trekking centre. Sea fishing is excellent and trout fishing is also available. Watch out for the wildlife. Otters, seals, porpoises, dolphins and even whales are seen regularly in Loch Harport. Orca wales were seen off the coast this summer. Golden eagles, buzzards, falcons and the rare white tailed sea eagles all live nearby. |
