Description: The cottage is traditional west coast cottage with 3 foot thick walls. Originally was a thatched cottage but now has a black saddle shaped roof. The 2 bedroom cottage sleeps 4/5 (no bed linen or towels supplied) and is ideal family accommodation, so we insist on no pets and a non smoking policy. The cottage stands on its own 1 mile from one of the main villages with lovely views of most of the island. The kitchen is fully equipped with dining table and chairs. It has a reasonable sized bathroom with shower. There is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom which has space for the 5th fold down bed. There is a coal fire and heaters for every room. All coal and electricity is extra. Location: The Island of Tiree is on Scotlands west coast, west of Oban and beyond Mull. You can get there by ferry from Oban or fly from Glasgow. The island is very flat and is surrounded by sandy beaches. It is very peaceful and ideal for walking or cycling. The island has a golf course, pony trekking and a water sports centre. There are 7 eating places for lunches and meals. To book just email or phone for the availability of the date you require. Confirmation of booking is when the £75 deposit is received. |
