Description: 15 stone-built cottages nestle in the woods and hills of a rural country estate. All are comfortably renovated, ranging from 2 to 4 star STB grading. The cottages sleep from 2 - 7 and can provide an ideal venue for larger family groups holidaying together. There are lovely country walks and bike rides from the doorstep. We offer peace and tranquility, an ideal retreat from hectic living. We are a working farm with deer, sheep, cattle and free range hens. We sell our meats and produce in our farm shop.

Location: Carmichael Country Cottages are situated in central southern Scotland in Lanarkshire halfway between Lanark and Biggar. We are secluded yet have easy access to the M74, Edinburgh and Glasgow. We provide and ideal touring base for the Borders, Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway. We are close to the world heritage site of New Lanark.
