Description: Our annex has its own entrance into the kitchen and 18x12 foot conservatory. 18x12 foot lounge overlooking lawns garden and river - and there’s also a small hall. The annex sleeps 2 people with its own double bedroom, plus single put up in lounge if required, bathroom with shower and WC. The kitchen - diner is fitted with gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. A non-smoking annex by popular request. Colour TV’s in lounge and bedroom. Regret no pets. Weekly bookings from Saturday, full details on request. Location: The village of Asfordby is just 3 miles west of the famous pork pie and Stilton cheese town of Melton Mowbray which has bustling street markets every Tuesday and Saturday. Melton's 13th-century St. Mary's Church is one of the most impressive in the county and well worth a visit. Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham and Oakham are all within a 15-mile radius. Legendary Robin Hood country is close by too! For other excursions you can visit Warwick Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon, Rockingham Castle, Belvoir Castle and the Peak District which are just an hour's drive away. |
