Description: A lovely comfortable Pine Lodge, furnished to a very good standard, in a very peaceful setting on the edge of Duck Lake, with ducks and swans for company which are easily viewed from the canopied decking area - also good for outdoor eating - sleeping up to five persons. Double glazed and centrally heated it is very warm in winter, and offers all the normal home comforts including fridge, gas hob with fan oven, dish washer, microwave and washing machine. There is television, video and dvd/cd player for entertainment. All the park facilities are available to hirers including golf, water skiing, jet skiing, fishing on Duck Lake (free), cycle hire and the clubhouse which also has facilities for children such as soft play area. (Of course some of these incur additional onsite hire costs). Both the clubhouse and the Fairways inn (situated in the park area near the main entrance), provide food and normal pub facilities. The lodge is very handy for the miles of sandy east coast beaches and Skegness and other nearby resorts. Loads of attractions in the area for all ages. The lodge has a big book of leaflets with all sorts in it supplied by us and our many satisfied customers who have added to it along the way. Word of Warning; Might get to see RAF jets from Raf Coningsby nearby, including the occasional Spitfire and Lancaster bomber from WW2! Can be a bit noisy when they fly by the end of the park, but don’t worry - you won't have your sleep interrupted! They only fly during the day and not for very long at a time. Location: The park is situated on the A153 between Sleaford and Skegness. About half an hour from both Skegness and Lincoln City with its beautiful Cathedral. |
