Beautiful, rolling countryside, magnificent coastline and enchanting sandy coves. DISCOVER. Brongwyn for very special holidays that others only dream about. Escape for a few days or longer, in Spring, Summer or Autumn. Location: It's a beautiful area to discover and explore; rolling countryside with wooded valleys, rivers, winding country lanes and hedgerows displaying colourful wild flowers from early spring through to autumn. Plus a fantastic unspoilt coastline with enchanting little coves and beaches dotted along it for miles. The Ceredigion Heritage Coast going north and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path going south; plus the wild Precelli hills in the heart of "Bluestone Country" with ancient druid cromlechs are all easily accessible from Brongwyn, providing some spectacular walking and sensational views (as far as Snowdonia on a clear day!) Cardigan Bay is home to a resident group of Bottle Nosed Dolphins, which can often be seen, leaping through the waves, from our local National Trust beach at "Mwnt" about 2.5 miles away; Atlantic Grey Seals too, are often seen from the coastal paths, basking on the rocks in the water below the cliffs. For those seeking more activity, the area also offers golf, horse riding, fishing, canoeing and sailing, and for garden lovers, the new national Botanical Gardens of Wales at Middleton Hall and the 'lost' gardens of Aberglasney, plus the beautiful rhododendron filled gardens of Picton Castle are all barely an hour's drive away. |
