The garden is partly sown with wildflowers to encourage wildlife and is planted with fruit trees, soft fruit bushes and herbs which can be picked in season. Relax in the hot tub and gaze at the stars or curl up on the comfy sofa in front of the log fire. Pamper yourself with a sauna in the sumptuous bathroom and luxuriate in the emperor bed. With surround sound music in the living room and an IPod cradle in the bedroom also linked to the bathroom you can create an atmosphere to suit your requirements. There is wi-fi internet access and a fully equipped kitchen if you would like to sample fine local ingredients. Location: Keepers is the perfect place to escape the stresses of busy lives so that whatever the weather you can shut out the world and completely unwind. Keepers Cottage is situated at the entrance to Glen Lyon, the longest enclosed glen in Scotland and within walking distance of five Munros. There are several golf courses close by with water sports on Loch Tay and white water rafting on the River Tay. Maps and guides are provided in the cottage as are picnic hampers, wellies and waxed jackets. Keepers is in the heart of Scotland and is within easy reach of Edinburgh, Glasgow and the West Coast. The village of Fortingall, a mile west of the cottage, is reached by a lovely stroll along the River Lyon where you can enjoy a pleasant meal at the Fortingall Hotel. |
