Barbeque and patio area over looking the garden, patio and games room, at rear of cottage. Hillview House - A wonderful Victorian stone-built cottage located at the front of the grounds and over looking spectacular hill views. This well equipped cottage offers a spacious fully equipped kitchen, a warm and inviting living room with hill views, a downstairs toilet and bedroom (sleeps 2), upstairs bathroom with shower, and 2 bedrooms: One spacious double bedroom with hill views and four foot bed, one bedroom with one four foot bed. Location: Aberfeldy is one of Scotland's best known holiday towns, surrounded by mountains and wonderful landscapes. It offers 4 golf courses, tennis courts, bowling green, and for the more energetic; canoeing, white water rafting, abseiling, adventure safaris, mountain biking and much more. In the town centre you will find many bars, cafes and shops, Aberfeldy also has an indoor recreation centre with 25m pool. Birks of Aberfeldy. The quiet walk, also a nature trail, follows the path alongside the Moness Burn reaching the highest point where it crosses the bridge above the Falls of Moness. The walk stretches a total distance of 1.5 miles, with seats and view points along the way. Made famous by Robbie Burns' poem "The Birks O' Aberfeldy", has resulted in the Den with it's Falls of Moness has since been maintained as a scenic walk for over 200 years. |
