Description: A delightful complex of 6 barn conversions on the edge of Blithfield Reservoir on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire Border in the Heart of England. These holiday cottages are situated in a an idyllic spot, in peaceful countryside, in the middle of our Organic Dairy Farm 2 miles from the ancient village of Abbots Bromley. We can cater for families and groups of all sizes and ages as our cottages include a lovely one bedroom cottage with a four poster bed and Jacuzzi bath, 2 two bedroom cottages, 2 three bedroom cottages and a 4/5 bedroom cottage which sleeps 10 people. All of them have large open plan living areas with wooden floors and rugs along with old oak beams and full gas central heating. The kitchen areas are modern and fully equipped and comes complete with dishwashers and fridge/freezers. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished, some with king sized beds, and most are en-suite. All the cottages have Patios overlooking the lake on which you can trout fish by arrangement with Blithfield Anglers. Location: We are situated in Staffordshire mid way between Uttoxeter and Rugeley on the B5013, 2 miles from Abbots Bromley and on the edge of Blithfield Reservoir. Stafford Station is 25 minutes away, Nottingham East Midland Airport is 35/40 minutes as is Birmingham Airport. The M1 Junction 24 is 30/35 minutes to the East and the M6 Junction 14 is the same distance to the West. |
