Log-effect electric fire, night-storage heater, well stocked bookcase and information folder etc. Kitchen, fully fitted with electric cooker/grill, fridge/freezer, toaster, Microwave, spin-dryer and ironing facillities, with views leading out into the enclosed patio garden with sunny aspect, garden furniture and flowering shrubs and planters encouraging birds and butterflies. Bathroom: Power shower, wash basin and WC., heater, shaver point, recently newly tiled throughout and with excellent lighting. Balustraded stairs (not steep) leading to: First Floor - Main bedroom; double bed with access either side, quality mattress, duvet and blankets, bedside lights, pine suite, night-storage heater and wall to wall carpet. Location: Leave behind the crowds and traffic and enjoy a peaceful rural location within the small Peak District village of Upper Elkstones. Set in attractive surrounding countryside, the cottage has been sympathetically restored containing unusual features and provides spacious accommodation for 2/3 people. Central for Dovedale, Manifold Valley and the Roaches and for the market towns of Buxton, Ashbourne and Leek - a town noted for it's many antique shops/warehouses. For a unique day-out follow the 'China Trail' visiting the visitor centres and factory shops of Wedgewood, Spode, Royal Doulton and Moorcroft among others. Visit the recently restored Trentham Gardens and the many National Trust Houses and Gardens in Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire, also Alton Towers theme park. There are 4 popular pubs/restaurants serving excellent meals/carvery nearby.
