Description: Welcome to The Old Stables, a luxury, beamed, single-storey accommodation with vaulted ceilings, on our working family farm in the downland village of West Marden, near Chichester, in West Sussex. Extremely well equipped, the spacious property sleeps four in two en-suite bedrooms. An extra cot or Z-bed is available if required. In high summer guests staying at the cottage have the shared use of the owner’s outdoor heated swimming pool, between 10 a.m and 4 p.m., Monday - Saturday. This is situated in a walled-in garden, ideal for relaxing. The cottage has its own large, attractive patio garden with shrubs, pots, BBQ and wooden garden furniture and also the use of another large lawned and walled-in garden which is ideal for children’s play. Location: Lovely walks or cycle rides can be taken straight from the door. We have a lock-up store for your bikes and have space to park boats on trailers too! The village pub which serves good food is only a very short stroll. West Marden is an ideal base for touring the south coast, day-trips to the Isle of Wight and only a twenty minute drive from the cross-channel ferry port at Portsmouth.
