Description: The main entrance is through a sun porch at the front of the property. There is a spacious sitting room with open fire, dining room with open fire, and a large family kitchen with dining table. The bathroom is off the hall and there is an instant shower over the bath. A seperate toilet is located at the rear entrance to the property. Location: An t-Seann Dachaidh is a traditional 3 bedroomed croft house on the West side of the Island of North Uist. It is approximately 18 miles from Lochmaddy along the A867 road and stands in its own grounds enclosed by a walled garden. It is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are views of hills, open moorlands and of the beautiful Machair pasturelands famous for their flowers, butterflies and birds. The silvery, sandy beaches of Hougharry are only 3/4 of a mile away and the lochs round about abound in brown trout. |
