There is a TV, DVD and VCR in the lounge, with another TV, DVD with Freeview in the second sitting room. There is a fully equipped cottage kitchen with utility room. Upstairs there are two double rooms with en-suite (shower/bath and wc), a Victorian family bathroom (with stand alone bath, shower and wc). There is one further double room and a single room. Each double room has a TV. Travel Cot and High Chair can be provided. Parking available for 3 cars. Pets are welcome. Location: Goathland is one of the prettiest villages in North Yorkshire and is better known as Aidensfield in the television series Heartbeat. You can go for a drink at the Aidensfield Arms and visit Scripps Garage, regular sights in Heartbeat. The Village Store, Post Office and traditional Tea Rooms are only a short stroll from your front door. The steam train can be boarded at Goathland station, and you can sit back and relax as it meanders its way through the Yorkshire Moors National Park. Goathland is situated 9 miles from Whitby. Whitby is a traditional seaside town and has the added attraction of Whitby Abbey, Captain Cooks Ship and many wonderful shops and restaurants. |
