Description: The individual cottages are all equipped to a high standard. Stable Cottage (sleeps 6) has a large dining/sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and 1 twin bedroom on the ground floor. There are two staircases from the lounge - one leading to a double bedroom and one leading to a twin bedroom. All bedrooms have wash basins. Doors from sitting room lead onto a large garden. Orchard Cottage (sleeps 4) has a large dining/sitting/kitchen and downstairs bathroom. First floor has 1 double and 1 twin bedroom. Large garden area outside. Mill House and Mill Cottage are attached. Mill House (sleeps 5) has 2 double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms and 1 single bedroom. Family bathroom. First floor has kitchen/dining/sitting room the length of the cottage with patio doors and balcony. Mill Cottage (sleeps 2) has ground floor dining/sitting/kitchen. First floor bedroom with en-suite bathroom. All are equipped with dishwashers, tv/video/dvd, microwaves and all electrical equipment. Bed linen and heating are inclusive. Towels charged as extra. Washing and drying facilities are available for the cottages in a separate area. There is ample parking outside all properties. All properties are non-smoking and no pets.

Location: South House Farm is situated in one of Yorkshire's most beautiful settings. It is a wonderful holiday base, lying just one mile south of the historic smuggling and fishing village of Robin Hood's Bay. It nestles in a National Park valley between moors and sea and is just a five minute walk from the beach at Boggle Hole. Whitby, Scarborough, York, Castle Howard, Lightwater Valley and Flamingo Land are all within easy reach. Visit the market towns of Pickering, Helmsley and Beverley and picturesque villages up the Esk valley where the television series 'Heartbeat' is filmed, or take a leisurely trip on the steam railway starting at Grosmont. Wonderful walks on the Cleveland Way, the old Scarborough to Whitby railway line and cliff paths can all be accessed from South House Farm. We have woods and streams on our own land which visitors are welcome to explore. Good pub food is available in the village with excellent restaurants in Whitby and Scarborough.
