Mains of Taymouth Farm Cottages are by the picturesque conservation village of Kenmore nestled at the east end of Loch Tay amidst the finest scenery Scotland has to offer and where the famous River Tay starts its journey to the sea. Our cottages are based around a traditional 18th courtyard, there are 7 self catering cottages varying from cosy 2 bedroom cottage to an extensive delux 5 bedroom with en-suite facilities, large secluded garden, sauna and outdoor Hot Tub. All the cottages are traditional stone built and tastefully modernised with full central heating, open fires, dishwashers and all other mod cons you would possibly need. We have Perthshire's finest 9 hole golf course and trekking stables suitable for all the family.
Location:
The cottages are in a quiet private setting with easy access to the golf course and restaurant and everything Scotland’s most prestigious area has to offer. We are surrounded by lovely walks and fishing is readily available in loch and river. Kenmore Golf Course is on our doorstep with reduced fees to residents and free golf in winter months and there are many other fine courses within easy reach including Taymouth Castle. Activities abound from water sports, pony trekking and mountain biking to the award winning Highland Adventure safaris or why not absorb the beautiful scenery and relax. Kenmore is an ideal base to explore Scotland – however we have so many wonderful things to do and see on our doorstep you will not need to venture far.
