Description:
Four stone built cottages with open log fires and background central heating for year round warmth. Very well equipped kitchens. Good quality bed linen and towels provided Digital TV and DVD players. One well behaved dog is welcome, (at extra cost).
Location:
Set high in the North Pennines overlooking Hury reservoir in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Great walking country with many walks including the Pennine way, (one mile away). An ideal location to explore the Durham and Yorkshire Dales, Hadrians Wall, the northern Lake District and many more places of interest. In spring we have the wading birds coming in to breed, also sheep, lambs and lovely spring flowers. Summer brings cooling breezes and autumn the lovely colours of turning leaves. We do enjoy more snow than most places, this is dealt with efficiently and roads are mostly kept open. The views at any time of year are breathtaking.
