Location:
The spectacular North Cornwall Coast with the beaches of Godrevy and Gwithian are only 8 minutes drive away, Gwithian being one of the most popular surfing beaches in Cornwall. There are also the Towans at Hayle, with 3 miles of golden sands, along with the sandy beaches that form St Ives Bay.
The South Coast is only a 15-minute drive, where you will find Mounts Bay, Said to be one of the top 10 most beautiful Bays in Europe, where you will find St Michaels Mount. St Ives Bay and Mount's Bay are two bays of Cornwall which is a land full of legends, history, stark inland parts, caves and secluded coves. Saint Michael's Mount, England's old village dating back to 1257, emerges from the waters directly opposite the small village of Mazarion.
All within an hours drive, you will find Lands End, The Lizard Point, Newquay, and Penzance where you may like to take a trip by boat or fly, to the beautiful Isles of Scilly. St Ives with the Tate Gallery, or Falmouth where National Maritime Museum has a large range of vessels, past and present on display. There is also the Goonhilly Earth Station, Godolphin House, the Seal Sanctuary at Gweek, The Minack open-air theatre set in the cliffs at Porthcurnow and Paradise Park with all its birds. We are also in easy reach of Tehidy, Mullion, West Cornwall and Truro Golf courses. There are many Gardens to visit such as the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Trevarno, Trengwainton and not forgetting the Eden Project, and many more attractions too numerous to mention. The rugged and wild beauty of the picturesque landscape still reflects Cornwall’s historic past. Today’s visitors are drawn here for fresh air, and the freedom to explore sheltered sandy coves, and the wonderfully wide beaches, cross-country cycle trails and exhilarating cliff walks.
