Description:

The Dairy Cottage is converted from the original dairy which had a milk cooler, large washing sink for the milking equipment and space to store all the milk churns. The conversion was completed in 1998 and has proved to be very popular. The sitting room / kitchen is spacious and boasts a very efficient wood burning stove (which is easy to use), and a flagged floor. The furniture includes a four poster bed in the master bed room, twin beds in a second bedroom, a well cushioned suite, dining table, TV and fitted kitchen in the living area. The bathroom is tiled and cosy. The cottage has gas central heating. To the rear of the cottage is an attractive garden with patio furniture. All heating electricity and linen is included.

Location:

We are just north of the village of Castleside off the A68. Heading towards Corbridge as you leave Castleside going passed the Fleece Inn on your left, then in 300 yards turn left down a small lane, sign posted Derwent Grange. Follow the road steeply down round tight Z bends, over a bridge and through a gate (close if it is closed). Climb up and past a wood on your right, the farm is then on your right.
