Description:
The Stable Cottage is the latest convertion and was opened in September 2006. This is designed for family holidays and comprises of three bedrooms two showers, two kitchens and a large living area with wood burning stove and a second smaller living area which also has a futon. Ideal accomodation for up to 11 people.
The cottage can be devided into two seperate areas;
Stable 1 cottage has 2 bedrooms sleeping 2 in a double room and 3 in a triple room. Bathroom, shower room and large sitting room with log burning stove - £450 per week.
Stable 2 cottage has 1 family room sleeping 4 in 1 double and bunk beds. A kitchenette and a shower room - £300 per week.
Location:
We are just North of the village of Castleside off the A68. Heading towards Corbridge as you leave Castleside going passed the Fleece Inn on your left, then in 300 yards turn left down a small lane, sign posted Derwent Grange. Follow the road steeply down round tight Z bends, over a bridge and through a gate (close if it is closed). Climb up and past a wood on your right, the farm is then on your right.
