Description:
Pitcairlie House is set in 120 acres of Parklands, woodlands and pastures with two lochs with fish. The oldest part of the house the Laird's castle dates back to the 12th century and has some of the oldest bee boxes in Scotland. At one time it was the home of the Leslie family and was then in Victorian times was futher developed and became the home of the Cathcart family. Pitcairlie is a wonderful place to stay as it is surrounded by amazing countryside. We have highland cows which are very gentle animals as well as plenty of wild life including the sea eagle.

Set amongst the rolling hills of Fife. Pitcairlie is 20 minutes from Perth, 40 minutes from Edinburgh about 40-45 minutes from Edinburgh and Dundee airports. Main line trains from Edinburgh to the north stop at Ladybank 910 minutes) away or Cupar and Perth. Perth is the gateway to the highlands and is only 20 minutes away and St Andrews and the East Neuk coast line are only 35 minutes from here. Excellent location for golf, walking, fishing, touring historic sites, coast and beach.
