Newly Rrefurbished our comfortable accommodation for up to 5 guests, has been recently refurbished to satisfy client expectation and provide all they require for a totally relaxing break. The spacious lounge/diner complete with new log-burner allows the weary holiday-maker the chance to unwind and relax after a full day exploring, swimming on the blue-flagged beaches or enjoying the many activities that the Snowdonia area has to offer. With consideration for the expectations of our guests we have a no pets and no smoking policy. Accessibility There is unrestricted road-side parking opposite the cottage. A small step into the porch leads to the fully carpeted through lounge/dining area with another small step into the tiled kitchen area. Bedrooms and shower-room with sink and WC are on the first floor. Bedrooms & Facilities The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and gas central heating throughout, whilst upstairs provides two double bedrooms, one of which gives access to the secluded, sheltered, garden and patio area to allow the pleasure of your evening meal or a last glass of wine before falling into your comfortable bed. The front bedroom, enjoying views out to Anglesey and Puffin Island, has two single beds, (which can be made into a double,) and an extendable child's bed with pocket sprung mattress. The shower room with sink and WC is also on the first floor. For those wanting a holiday away from the kitchen, there is a local pub in Dwygyfylchi, the Fairy Glen, and a hotel, the Gladstone, serving meals most days and both less than a mile away. There is also the Austrian Restaurant on Conwy Old Road which opens on Thursdays, Friday, Saturday evenings and Sunday lunch. Panoramic Views Views from the front windows at the cottage look across the Menai Strait towards Puffin Island and Anglesey. The garden gate at the back takes you on a short walk to the bench on the hillside where you get the finest sunsets across the water as far as the Great Orme. Should you wish to take the challenge of the hill's steep path you join the Jubilee Track at the top where you can enjoy magnificent vistas and the finest neolithic remains in North Wales. Walkers are rewarded with the panoramic splendour of the Menai Straits, the Great Orme; even as far as the Isle of Man on a clear day. Wildlife is all around you with the Welsh mountain ponies grazing on the hillsides and soaring high above the buzzard keeps a look out for his lunch.
