Originally a 'long house' the Dairy is the original dwelling house dating from the mid 17th century. As the homestead expanded its use changed and it became the byre and dairy until the 1960's. It has been tastefully renovated and is fitted with all modern conveniences. Bigger inside than it looks, accommodation consists of; an entry porch with drying area leads to a large open plan lounge with dining and kitchen areas. A sliding french window leads to the private patio and garden. From the lounge a hallway leads to the bedrooms and bathrooms; 1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom (bath/shower, toilet and hand basin); 1 twin bedroom; 1 shower room with shower, toilet and hand basin. All accommodation is on one level and the lounge, double bedroom and en-suite bathroom are accessible to wheelchairs. Facilities include; Ample car parking, TV, video, indoor and outdoor games, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, garden furniture and gas barbecue.

Nestling in the Glen surrounded by beautiful hills the cottages are the original outbuildings of a traditional 18th century farm, renovated to the highest standard using, where possible, original features and items. Its location makes an ideal base for exploring Cowal, Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Kintyre, Argyll Forest Park, plus easy access via one of the shortest sea ferry crossings in the world to the Island of Bute. There is a wide variety of cycling or walking in the area. We are located on one of the loop walks off the Cowal Way and can provide transport for drop-off or pick-up for walking stretches of the Way.
