Description:
The Steadings is one building converted into three units comprising of The Haven, The Hayloft and The Stables. The Haven is on the right hand side has three bedrooms and can sleep six, the Stables on the left hand side ground floor has two twins (one with bunk beds) downstairs and the Hayloft on the upper left floor has one twin and one double bedroom upstairs. There is a common entrance to the Stables and Hayloft and they can be let either separately or together, sleeping four each or eight between them. The adjoining door between the Stables and the Haven when open have any combination of up to seven bedrooms - ideal for large groups or extended families.
Location:
Nestling in the Glen surrounded by beautiful hills the cottages are the original outbuildings of a traditional 18th century farm, renovated to the highest standard using, where possible, original features and items. Its location makes an ideal base for exploring Cowal, Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Kintyre, Argyll Forest Park, plus easy access via one of the shortest sea ferry crossings in the world to the Island of Bute. There is a wide variety of cycling or walking in the area. We are located on one of the loop walks off the Cowal Way and can provide transport for drop-off or pick-up for walking stretches of the Way.
