Description:
A group of flint and brick cottages, single storey, situated on our working farm by the South Downs. They are all well equipped and comprise between 1 and 3 bedrooms each with a kitchen/lounge, bedroom and bathroom. The kitchens are fully equipped. Bed linen and bath towels are included and the heating is by a £ coin meter. There is a shared laundry room on site. We were awarded First Prize in the Sussex Heritage Awards 2001 in the 'Industrial and Commercial Category' for an outstanding development using traditional skills with an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Location:
We are located just off the A27 between Lewes and Polegate on our own working farm just under Mount Caburn. The nearest main station is Lewes but Glynde does have its own station as well. In the village there is a shop with post office and a pub serving excellent food.
