Rose Cottage is approaching her 200th birthday and is a picturesque Yorkshire stone cottage in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors. Located in the village of Goathland, famous for its Heartbeat and Harry Potter connections it is a Grade II listed gem with wood burning stoves, original features and an enclosed cottage garden.

The lounge features traditional beamed ceilings, a wood burning stove and comfortable leather sofas and chairs, with SATELLITE TV, DVD player and Wii Games Machine

The fully fitted country kitchen has its original beams and is equipped with all the self catering essentials. There is a spacious dining room with a wood fire and a utility room with laundry facilities.

Bedrooms (5), Bathrooms (4): The ground floor bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite shower room with SAT TV. The room is accessed via two steps down from the lounge and has its own French doors leading onto a back patio and the side access gate. The first floor houses a further four bedrooms. One bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite WC/shower. The largest room upstairs is a family room with a king size bed and a day bed (with trundle) which has en-suite shower, WC and bath, and SAT TV. There is one other bedroom which has a king size bed which shares a large family bathroom (with bath, shower, bidet and WC) with the single bedroom.



Location:

Goathland is one of the prettiest villages in North Yorkshire and is better known as Aidensfield in the television series Heartbeat. You can go for a drink at the Aidensfield Arms and visit Scripps Garage, regular sights in Heartbeat. The Village Store, Post Office and traditional Tea Rooms are only a short stroll from your front door. The steam train can be boarded at Goathland station, and you can sit back and relax as it meanders its way through the Yorkshire Moors National Park. Goathland is situated 9 miles from Whitby. Whitby is a traditional seaside town and has the added attraction of Whitby Abbey, Captain Cooks Ship and many wonderful shops and restaurants.
