The Wee Bothy

Description:

The fully equipped kitchen is separated from the sitting area by a large breakfast bar, but there is also room for a small table and the seating area is comfortable with a large sofa bed and matching armchair. An LCD TV DVD player and CD player should keep you entertained. The property is centrally heated and electricity is included in the price. The bedroom has a large comfortable double bed and pure cotton bed linen, with a relaxing view looking out onto the walled garden. Ample storage space so you can put away your suitcase and really settle in! The bathroom is spacious, fresh and relaxing, it has no window, but is bright, clean and private. An electric shower is positioned over the large bath, and all the fittings are brand new and modern. There is a small south facing patio outside the Wee Bothy, which is located in a small walled garden, the only other inhabitants of which are some newly planted fruit trees and the odd wandering hen! It is completely private and a barbeque and charcoal is also provided for the long peaceful summer evenings we have here.

Location:

The Wee Bothy is a one bedroom, self catering holiday cottage located in the heart of the rural county of East Lothian, 20 miles east of  Edinburgh, inbetween the market town of Haddington and the rural villages of Garvald and Gifford. An old tiler's cottage in it's former life, it has now been converted to form comfortable accommodation with everything you would need. The Wee Bothy forms the end building of a small pretty courtyard, adjacent to the farmhouse, where horses and hens will be your neighbours! It sits in its own large walled garden, in which there are newly planted fruit trees, and provides an excellent, comfortable base for exploring both the county of East Lothian and further afield.
