The manor at Hemingford Grey is reputedly the oldest inhabited house in England, built around 1130. Also visit the historic cathedral cities of Ely; Peterborough and Bury St Edmunds, and the famous university city of Cambridge, with the war museum of Duxford are all with easy reach from Hemingford Abbots.
